Dear Potential Donor & Community Partner,
LytleCares is a grassroots LLC that strives to improve the local community’s understanding of mental health by centering the connection between mental well-being and physical well-being.
Although we are a new company, the creator of this endeavor, Kenny Lytle— has an extensive, positive track record working with the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School district (as first, a security guard and most recently— an Instructional Assistant for Exceptional Children aka EC). In his roles, he has demonstrated genuine care, concern and patience needed to work with the Intellectual and Developmentally Disabled (IDD) community. He has also managed to compile a team through LytleCares LLC, with over 30 years of experience servicing the IDD community members and their families as clients.
Thus far, LytleCares has been able to:
Provide educational opportunities that assist in identifying early warning signs of mental illness
Provide programs and an environment for clients that supports recovery and improves resilience for those clients and their caregivers
Uphold the standard of committed assurance that those requesting and in need of mental health care and/or referrals, receive this in confidentiality
Advocate for improved reform regarding support services and mental health treatment on state and federal levels
Improve client levels of interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships, thereby enhancing their quality of life
We’ve recently been in contact with several local families in need of services and as we take necessary steps to become certified by the State of North Carolina— allowing us to accept government medical funding, our clients are currently tasked with paying out of pocket. We would love to serve all of the families who have inquired, but the truth is that many of our community members in need, just cannot afford the associated costs for their loved one. That’s where your generosity comes in!
