Kenneth Lytle: Owner/founder LytleCares, LLC :
My name is Kenneth Lytle, and I am the CEO and founder of LytleCares, LLC. LytleCares was born in August of 2021. It had long been a dream of mine to become a business owner, but not just any business, I wanted to make a difference in my community! Before the inception of LytleCares, I was employed for 8 years by Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools, where I worked as a Security Officer and then as an ECTA at East Chapel Hill High School. Being an ECTA and working with the IDD population is part of what inspired me to start LytleCares.
I currently work one on one with at risk youth and individuals in the IDD community. I have years of experience and expertise from working in juvenile detention facilities, 3 School Districts, Intensive In Home Counseling Services, and Community Living Support Services. In these roles I created and coordinated enrichment, tutoring, outreach services, career planning, advocacy and mentoring.
I hold a Sociology degree from Norfolk State University.
I started LytleCares, LLC when I realized that I wanted to do more for those at risk youths and/or members of the IDD community who will need support during summer breaks from school, and especially after High School Graduation.
My future goal is to be able to open a facility that will function as a headquarters for LytleCares called Fellowship with Friends (F.W.F).
